Problem

How do I find out who has access to my company systems?

How do I find out who has access to my company systems? The practical answer is to look for specific, checkable indicators rather than guess. Access rights accumulate and almost nobody removes them. The question is rarely whether an employee is stealing from you. It is whether a leaver, a role change, or a decade of 'temporary' access has left doors open.

Key takeaways

As of 24 October 2026: the service descriptions, prices and turnaround figures on this page are current.

What do the signs usually look like?

These are the indicators we check for. The presence of one is a prompt to look closer, not a diagnosis.

What do you actually do?

We build a privileged access register, compare actual access against documented need, and give you a named change list with the reasons. We also test whether your joiner-mover-leaver process actually works, because a process that is not tested is a process that does not work.

What comes back is a written record of what was checked, what was found, and what was not found. That last part matters as much as the first two, because it tells you which risks you can stop worrying about.

What can you do right now?

What does this usually cost, and how long does it take?

Most of these assessments are a fixed-fee engagement with a stated band agreed before work starts, and a delivery date you can plan around. If the situation is more urgent than that, say so and it gets handled differently.

What does this usually cost?

The work here is priced as a fixed fee with a stated band, agreed before anything starts, and delivered to a date you can plan around. Where the situation is more urgent than a scheduled engagement allows, tell us and it is handled differently.

What are the common questions about this problem?

How do I find out who has access to my systems?
Start with a privileged access review: the accounts with administrative rights, the service accounts with stored credentials, the people who left but whose access was never revoked, and the shared accounts that make attribution impossible. Access reviews are evidence, not opinion, and they are what an assessor reads first.
What is the most common finding in an insider access review?
Stale access. Accounts that belonged to people who have moved roles or left, permissions inherited through group membership and never reviewed, and dormant accounts that still authenticate. These are found in almost every first review and are cheap to fix.
Is monitoring employees legal in India?
Monitoring has to be proportionate, disclosed and consistent with the employment contract and the IT Act's provisions on interception. AAVETech does not assist in covert surveillance of an individual, and the scope of any monitoring engagement is set out in writing in the rules-of-engagement document before it starts.
How much does a privileged access review cost?
It is a fixed-fee engagement with a stated price band agreed before work starts, and a delivery date you can plan around. The review is usually delivered as a written findings list, each entry showing the account, the access it holds, and the recommended change.
